Hi everyone! New here from Louisiana. Super excited about raising chickens. Was given 6 chicks back in April. Unfortunately, 5 were roosters. Found homes for 3 roosters. We now have 3 young hens (one from the first batch), 1 older hen, and 1 rooster. We are learning all kinds of things. Our first young hen just laid her first egg this weekend. I felt like a proud momma! Looking forward to learning more about them.
