(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? New to chickens---get my first pullets on Fri 5/20/11. Everything is set-up and ready to go!!!

Have wanted to backyard chicken for years. Have studied and "fantasized" about backyard chickens and eggs for a very long time.

(2) How many chickens do you have right now? 8 but started ouy at 4 and quickly went to 8--but still want to get 8 more.

(3) What breeds do you have? RIR and Buff Orps...next ones Doms and GLW

(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com? GRIT magazine

(5) What are some of your other hobbies? online surfing and facebook, reading chicken books, bible and anything I can get ahold of gardening, hunting, fishing.

(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I am married to a wonderful man that understand and supports my obsession (he even turned over his yard shed and we turned it into a chicken coop and run) I have a 15 y.o. son who I am VERY PROUD of. I have two cats a Jack Russell and a goldfish. AND I was at TSC so often that NOW I am and employee there. Which is a WONDERFUL place to work-ESPECIALLY during chick days!!!LOL
