Hi,

This is my first time incubating. I have 15 eggs in a little giant forced air incubator. On day 19 yesterday I had two hatch out and today day 20 five hatched out so far. My question is, when do I take the hatchlings out and put them in the brooder? Will it effect the incubation process of the other eggs if I take them out?

Everybody does it differently, but with our LG I try to leave the chicks in there as long as possible so you don't have humidity fluctuations from opening & closing. That time frame for me is 48 hours, then I'll quickly move the driest chicks to their brooder. I like to leave a newer one in there tho because I think the cheeping helps motivate the others to hatch.
