Hi guys! My name is Ophelia, and I ordered a Buff Orpington, an Americauna, and a Delaware from Beau Peep Farms (I rate 5 stars btw), to my surprise 6 arrived, 2 of each.
They were hatched on June 10th so they are only 6 days old. Unfortunetly one of the americaunas eye got scratched. other than that they're all good. So I'm new here that's it!

Sometimes the hatcheries will include extra chicks to make sure that there are enough birds in the box to stay warm. Some call them "packing peanuts," and they are often chicks that have been sexed as being male (most people want females).

hi guys! how come my chicks shake their heads when I speak to them (softly) ? and one of my delawares absolutely adores me, but won't let others. if they come near me she will pecy their feet... will it pass? her jealousy?
