Newbies in Central MD

Our boys are 7 & 9 and wanted to try 4H. Having lost a bunch of critters in the past several years (old age, cancer), they didn't want anything that would have to go to slaughter so they decided on trying to raise layers!

I went a little nuts and bought a bunch of chicks of different breeds. Of course no eggs till around August/September, but our girls will be part of the family by then and lovin farm life!
