Hi everyone! We're a family oriented small farm. We have raised goats, rabbits, and pigs for around seven years. We've also had some cows in the mix. Three of our five children are old enough to and do participate in our local 4-H program. Our oldest, Rachel, is in her sixth year of 4-H and her goal is to participate in every project our county offers. She only has 5 of about 70 left! Anyways, we ventured into chickens this year. We ordered 25 Silver Laced Wyandottes from our local feed store and also bought 5 Brown Leghorns. We just got them last night.
If you have any tips on how to take care of new chicks, we could use all the help we can get!
Thanks so much and have a great day!
