My name is Dar, and I am from SE Louisiana. I am so glad to have found of of you!!
I recently started my lil chicken farm, which includes 4 Dominique hens, 3 chicken mutts/girls...lol which are part Dom, and part Americana I was told, but not sure. I have one part Americana, and I also have 9 Barred Rock pullets, 3 Buff Orph pullets, and 3 Production Reds pullets also. Today my newest member of the family was adopted. My handsome rooster who is a Dominque.
I started this adventure/hobby a couple months ago, and am having so much fun! When I was young, and grew up in ohio, and my parents raised chickens so I guess I have a little bit of background doing this, but am still learning as I go.
I am looking forward to getting to know all of you.
