Hello everyone,
I had chickens for about a year as a kid. Finally, after 13 years I again have chickens. I received the roosters about a month ago and the hens are were received 2 days ago. Currenlty, I have a total of 8 chickens and all are about 6 to 7 months old. I have 5 hens and 3 roosters. Of the 5 hens, 3 are RIR and 2 are Red Sex Links. 2 roostes are EE and the other rooster is a bantam. I was researching the web for answers about my chickens when I came across a post from this website. When I am not engaged with the chickens, I enjoy hunting, fishing, and camping. My husband and I have been married for 12 years and we have 3 children. I am currently going to school to become an Accountant while my husband works for a government aviation contractor. We have 3 dogs, 6 cats, 8 chickens, and 1 horse. I am hoping to add several more hens to my flock in the near future.
