Hello to All!!
I am excited about this website and anxious to learn all I can.
We have quite the feed bill here. We have 2 horses, 5 dogs, 4 cats, gold and black sex links, RI Reds, Kaky Cambell Ducks, spanish geese, golden 300 ducks, Jersey giants and leghorns. Totaling about 50 I guess. I am getting ready to add heritage turkeys. Blue slate, Black Spanish, Royal Palms, and Bourbon Reds. 5 of each kind. They come in April and I can't wait
I also ordered 25 ornamental layers and 25 brown layers. They come in March. We have people interested in the duck and chicken eggs so I decided to increase those and already have requests for turkeys next year after we raised and sold a few this year. Thank heavens we have a feed store close by that sells in bulk!!
I am going to do the BBW/BBB again until the heritage flock grows a little.
I also have a wonderful, patient and tolerant husband of 20 years, a daughter and son, step-daughter and son-in-law and 2 of the most beautiful grand babies ever!! Musn't forget them!!
I love my little "farm" and have alot of fun with the birds. They make me laugh.
I'm glad to be a part of BYC and I am sure I will be loaded with lots of questions as the days get closer. God Bless!!
