(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Hello all! This is my 3rd year with chickens. Not really new but man they still surprise me sometimes!
I have 9 hens and one big baby of a rooster. They’re all just backyard buddies. No one is food here lol I have serveral breeds but:
Aziraphale and Severus are Ameraucanas
Hollë seems to be an appenzeller cross
Diaval is a Mystic Onyx
Dahmer is a Buckeye
Elvira is a Maran
Aurora is a Sapphire Gem
Chino is an ISA brown
And finally Agador is my RIR roo
I love them all because they all have their own little quirks and personalities!
My other hobbies include horseback riding, embroidery work, sewing, and mermaiding!
I have one personal cat and I foster locally. I have come to this site often for various readings but unfortunately I finally joined to try to save my favorite bird. However I look forward to all the information and seeing other people’s wonderful birds!
