Hi my name is Steavan and I am new to chickens, still trying to determine the best layers and so forth. I bought 6 Buff Orps, that I am going to pick up this Thursday. Still not sure if that's the one I want the more I read on here. Would love some input, btw I am located in Mississippi,

You're gonna have to look up mississippifarmboy. If you find a breed you like, I bet he'd know who has them near you if he doesn't have the breed.

Plus you have come to a great place for finding breeders of all the breeds you can think of. Some of us have several breeds and colors.
