Hi everyone! My name is Jessica, and my family & I live in Minnesota. Both my husband and I had chickens when we were kids and are now looking forward to having that experience with our own children. I landed on BYC when I was looking for permanent coop ideas and loved the creativity and community support for other fellow chicken owners!

Welcome, Jessica. A great experience for you all to share together. Got snow in MN, still? What kinds of chicks did you get? Will the children be in Chicken 4-H? I do enjoy the different personalities of my chicks, already. The one who runs to greet me always brings a big smile and a warm heart. Happy little critters
