Newly hatched chick cannot stand [Pictures & Video Included]

Hi,

It's been 36 hours now but the chick is unable to stand after hatch. I am giving the chick electrolyte and some multi vitamin water. Have this happened to your hatch ever? I am very worried Can you guys please advice on what to do.

Does your vitamin have riboflavin (vitamin B 2) listed on the label? That is best. Is the chick alert and able to swallow the electrolyte water? When I have hatched chicks who could not walk and who did not have splay legs, I would place the chick in a padded wine glass or cup to get it standing with support. This may develop the leg muscles. Sometimes though, the chick may be brain damaged and it may not help.
