Hi so my little ducky hatched last night at some point, he yet isn’t walking but lots of wiggles and chirping, but I am unsure what to do with that’s attached underneath him, should I just leave it? Will he eat it?

Hmmm. Maybe leave him\ her in the incubator and see if it absorbs it. But I'm not sure if that's what it is. I hope you find someone that does.

Hi. I did some research and I think it is a yoke sack.i read that you can put them in a Cup or container lined with damp cloth and wait for it to absorb. I would also find a way to keep your duckling warm. How it doing.

Thankyou! He is still very chirping, I was laying him on my chest wrapped in a tea towel, and he wiggled loads, wasn’t too worried as my house is very warm, he is now wiggling in the incubator, eye havnt opened yet only every now and then

I believe he is still absorbing, put him in a cup lined with a clean paper towel, and put him back into the incubator--- I think-- I'm not an expert but I believe thats the best thing at the moment.

Since this post was from earlier, how is he doing at the moment??
Let me call in someone better experienced

He is doing very well, not walking around her but he is giving it a good old go, very alert!
