After much debate and confusion this announcement from Chaparral, New Mexico has confirmed that Silkie Fancy Pants is indeed a rooster. He was observed this morning in a compromising position canoodeling with a Miss Fuzzy Butt Hen in front of the local Chicken Coop. Neither would give a statement, but the paparrazi will be watching to see if these two carry this relationship to a higher level.

Mr. Silkie Fancy Pants is in recovery in a local isolation pen. Unfortunatley Mr. Fancy Pants was caught in a compromising position with a Miss Babette Runner Duck and Emeril Mallard took offense and attacked Mr. Fancy Pants. The injuries are not life threatening but did cause a brief loss of ego and self-confidence a long with a large chunk of missing feathers. He is expected to make a full recovery.
