Next egg?

My chicken layed her first egg yesterday. How long does it take for her to lay the next? 25 hours? When should the next come?

well it depends on the breed.
my first egg was on tuesday and then on thursday so every other day so far but mine is five months old.
somethimes it can be as far as a week to a day..

You answered your own question but sometimes they skip a day maybe two especially after only laying one. But keep looking for eggs. Good Luck & Congatulations.

Thank you both! The one that started laying is a BR and I have a New Hampshire Dominique and a Ee so idk wen the rest will lay either. Three of them are 6 months today and the Dom in 6 months and 3 weeks today. No eggs except for the barred rock.

Last BR egg was layed 22 hours ago
