I have a 4-5 week old Pekin duck that I've been treating for niacin deficiency. It's legs are stronger and more "together" after a few days but I've noticed that the feet turn in and it's legs are bowed. Is this permanent or can I expect things to improve with further treatment? I've read a little about hobbling a duck to straighten the legs. This is very distressing to the poor baby so I don't want to go to such lengths unless I know it will truly help. Any advice is appreciated!

It may, what are you feeding them? i found with my Pekin they needed dedicated duck starter.. they seem to grow so rapidly. Any pics? they can be a bit pigeon toed lol

After doing a little research on niacin-rich foods I'm giving ducky oat straw powder, some yeast flakes, and spinach along with the chick/duck starter. It's what I have on hand. I'm also putting ducky in water to swim a bit. I read that's good for strengthening their legs. Last night ducky seemed to be walking much easier. I'm praying things just keep improving.
