Niacin

I've been reading you should add Niacin to water for ducklings to help with strength in the legs. My ducklings and my chicks are together, so would this affect the chicks?

I have the exact same question....I read somewhere that the chick starter feed should have all the vitamins needed for chicks and ducks, but I keep hearing about niacin deficiency in ducklings....
