Nice Craigs list find - Semi Homemade incubator GQF

We will be able to replace Sparrow Ministries flock ourselves next year and any extra will be sold or donated.

The parent stock will be RIR roo with RIW pullets(which were hard to find). The parent stock chicks will be delivered in a month and a half so I can use them for next years incubating.

Money for this project was donated... Praise the Lord!

I found this incubator in NC for $175 but after talking to him he lowered the price to $125.

Each egg tray hold 66 eggs. With 3 trays thats 198 eggs. It also has a hatching tray in the bottom but i'm thinking about just using my little giant incubator as a hatcher. so I don't have to raise the humidity in the whole incubator :)

10 days to hatch and we loose power... I moved it to my workplace who has power but it was out for 3 hrs... 84 deg temp inside.

It was hard to move and somewhat of a bumpy ride :(

Now that power is back should I move it or leave it until it hatches even though that might be inconvienant?
