we just built a new coop and i thought i would share some ideas. it consist of 2 2x6 and 16 1.5X1.5. it can all be found at lowes.

Mine would all be one one side of the top bar. With the way my hens like to cuddle at night, I bet I could fit 500 chickens in my coop.
