Nice rooster "Dizzy." He comes when I call.
I got Dizzy in a Meyer hatchery fry pan bargain last Sept. He was a star gazer. and I thought I would just cull him eventually. But he was very sweet, so I kept him.
.
He is not star gaze-y any more, but still a bit loopy. I thought he would never crow. He does but I don't think he crows as much as a regular rooster, or as loud. He has a girlfriend, and he is every where she is and he tid-bits for her. She is a Welsummer named "Wendy".
She likes him as much as he likes her...I went to put the birds to bed tonight, and I have 3 young roosters (3 months?) 2 were on a lower roost and one (Sport) decided to roost with Dizzy. I think it is sweet that he is taking a young one under his wing.
