(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
Yes, I am very new to chickens. We got all our lovely ladies and possible Roos almost four weeks
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
We have a total of 14.
(3) What breeds do you have?
We have two barred rock, two Rhode Island reds, two Andalusian, two blue laced red Wyandotte’s, two Isa browns and four Cornish hens.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens?
I am loving each of their personalities and I didn’t realize how much I would come to really care and love them. I am excited to have fresh eggs and have a little bit of the farm life.
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I am a stay at home momma so right now my only hobbies are reading when my kids finally fall asleep.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have a loving husband and we will have been married five years in July but we have been together nine years total. We have three beautiful boys and of course a boy golden doodle that our son just had to name Buzz Lightyear.
(7) Bonus: How did you find BYC, how long have you known about BYC, and what made you finally join our awesome community?
I have been looking things up on google and I always end up looking at BYC. I think I’ve known about them for two months now. I finally decided to join because I had a few questions and figured I might be able to find some answers.
