I always ask the hens that are sitting on eggs as I gather them if they are harboring secrets, so I guess I call them.........

Hmm, I never really thought about a nickname.

I did walk by my Speckles Sussex...who lives in the kitchen, and she was in her "nest", I asked her if she was working on producing something good for me to eat,, lol.

She looked at me as if I were an idiot and walked away, lol.
