Niger seed for quail

Does anybody know if quail could eat niger seed. ????

My quail eat just about all seeds. I mix chicken scratch with finch seed, (white and red millet, tiny pieces of sunflower hearts and niger seed), chipped sunflower seed and small parrot seeds. They get a tiny handful of this everyday on the side with their gamebird food. They seem to enjoy all these seeds. Niger seed is expensive, so I wouldn't go overboard with it.

Here in the uk niger seed is quite cheap, but regardless of the price i will keep giving them a balanced and healthy diet.
