Ninja's Bargin Bin Braggin' Blowout

don't do much in person shopping, but I ordered a portable fold up crib for my house for grandson coming in Nov. Box arrived all smashed up/ re-taped. Called store--they apologized and sent a second one--AND SAID TO KEEP THE OTHER!!! when I unpacked it, it was missing hanging mobile with toys, but crib was fine. When I called store again, they said don't worry about it! now daughter has one for naps in her living room or for travelling

Awesome score! Ive been fortunate enough to not have anything arrived damaged but sometimes those delivery drivers just dont care. Did you end up getting the mobile?

didn't ask!! the extra crib was a bonus enough!
2 for the price of one is always better. Now 2 for the price of nothing...way better. I can't wait until things return to normal. I haven't been able to use my coupon book! Last time I used it was before all of this. Managed to get 8 bottles of shampoo for FREE. Those were the days...

This is more of a selling brag than a purchasing brag but...
Yesterday I went to pick tomatoes for salsa and saw I had 10 HUGE zucchinis. I also had several small ones but I thought to myself, there is no way I have time to process all of that. So I set up a little table in the front yard with a small sign that said "organic zucchini 50 cents each" with a plastic container marked "honor system". I expected either to have no money and no zucchinis or lots of zucchinis and no money but it was worth a shot.
Went out to put it up for the night and no one bought a zucchini. I threw it all in the wheel barrow and decided to set it up with a large sign today.
After the rain stopped I wheeled it all out there with a large piece of plywood that said ZUCCHINI 50 CENTS". Didnt expect much but was hopeful.
My father came by for a visit and I asked him if he saw my table. He said there was still about 7 or 8 zucchinis on it. I assumed since he didnt really count that the table was still untouched. I watched him drive off and went back to my daily chores only to realize about an hour later I had left my phone on the porch.
I had one missed call, from my father. He left a message saying "your table is empty!" Of course I immediately thought that he was joking so I walked out there. Sure enough there were no more zucs...and the bucket was full of money! People paid twice the amount I asked. Got ten dollars for being lazy! :celebrate
