nipple waterers for chicks

Hey there I made my chick's a nipple waterer I'm familiar with them and have them for my grown hens outside (a 5 gallon bucket with 4 nipples) I made the chick version using vitamin water bottles with the hole drilled I'm the lid and the nipple screwed in. I can't seem to get water to come out like not nearly as much as what comes out of the bigger version. I KNOW it isn't enough for the chick's I have to tap it like 10 times for one or two drops. What gives?

No the you tube video I watched didn't say to do one. I wondered if that was the problem! So it does need one?

Yes it needs a hole, it doesn't need a big hole but does need one.

I went ahead and cut one yesterday to see if it helped it woorked its perfect thanks guys! It seems like a pretty important step to leave out of a YouTube video dedicated on how to make a bottle style nipple waterer for chicks lol
