No chickens... again.

8 years ago I joined this site. I couldn't get chickens then because of where I lived. Now we have 2+ acres where there are literally NO regulations and its just too expensive. We've looked at building coops and even into buying one used and its just not going to happen. I can't say I don't have the money, but there are just more important things to spend it on. More than 8 years I've wanted chickens. I guess it's not meant to be.

So goodbye again Backyard Chickens. Maybe someday.

We hope u dont go to far. And yes making them a proper home is expensive. Maybe there will be some more lumbar cost drop soon for you. We will be here waiting to hear all about it once u finnaly get some little cheapers or some egg laying pullets u find ready to go!!!!!

hell get a few sticks and some string and mark where u want it. hack get a nice big tarp right? and buy the coop 1 peice of material at a time and cover it!!!!!!! You waited 8 years. I think u can wait out the darned devil!!!!!

LOL I suppose I did. Husband suggested the same, we'll buy it a little at a time and maybe next spring I'll get my girls.

This wasn't supposed to be a "look at me" thread. I didn't mean to have people telling me to stay. I was just really upset when I posted. Thank you all so much. :love
