Hubby’s rule.. no chicken in the house.. Well.. that was until he watched the whole process of incubating and watching them hatch.. this batch of 6 was supposed to go to his parents once they were feathered cause we won’t have an outdoor coop until spring and as you can see they are still here and needed more space until hubby decides they won’t die with his parents flock 🤣.. we built a nursery at the top for the new babies.

He actually wants to eat them 🙄 He doesn’t bother with my inlaws free range flock but these one he tries to bite them when they get the zoomies. 🤨
Tempting little targets!

I started my flock with 7-8 week old pullets, so no tinies, but the cat was very, very interested! Now that they’re bigger than she, she has gotten quite a bit meeker around them.

Our cat is not even interested, they got 5 seconds of attention and he was bored lol
