Hello All! My wife and I live in Phoenix, AZ and we do not have chickens yet but are planning of building a coop and getting chicks within the next year. We want to study up first and make sure we are prepared. We have been changing our lifestyle to a no processed foods diet and while we have always tried to buy organic food we are now moving toward our own "production." We plan on having 4 raised garden beds in our back yard as well as the chicken coop to supply fresh eggs and veggies for us year round. Any advice you may have for us raising chickens in Phoenix would be helpful.
