I think they are happy happy too! nice sunshine and fresh air! We will have the underneath covered too (tomorrow) and then we can move this around to fresh spots.

I move my chicks when they are fully feathered from the brooder to a 6' x 6' dog kennel that as a plywood flat roof. I'm forever hitting my head crouched over filling water bowls and feeder

I zip tied small mesh to the sides for when it's a broody house w/peeps. Works great and has year round uses. Yours looks much better.

Now that we have 6 more (now 3 day olds) coming along we can use it for them as well. Never really expected to have more and I was going to reuse the wire for the main coop. Now we will just have to buy more
