No Crow Rooster Collar

Hi,
I am thinking about adopting a rooster from my local shelter. He's very sweet and gorgeous. The only thing I am worried about is the crowing. Does the No Crow Rooster collar work? Is it uncomfortable for the rooster? Thanks!

It works but quiets the crow rather than eliminating it. It takes a few days for them to get used to it in most cases. Some adjust in minutes and some never do. It depends on the individual.
