No eggs after two weeks of good laying

My girl just started laying 2 1/2 weeks ago and she laid every day sometimes 2 eggs a day until this last Sunday. She hasn't laid anything since Saturday and I just wanted to know if this is normal for new layers? She lays big beautiful eggs and I sure want her to keep that up. She's a Rhode Island red about 5 1/2 months old of that has anything to do with anything.

That link didn't help but my problem has solved itself. She has started laying again and she is giving me beautiful big eggs. My chickens did not like the nesting boxes we had so my husband made a large laying thing for them out of a bucket and an old cabinet and the next day problem solved so I guess not all hens like snug little nesting boxes.
