No Eggs for Awhile

My showgirl and silkies started laying a few months ago. Then a hawk got in their pen and they quit laying. I figured they'd start up again after a few days. It's been around 2 months. What's up with that? They are around a year old, there's only 3 hens, they have oyster shells and layer pellets. I'm in GA, so it's mild. Do they take a break in winter?

Many do and will start laying again when the light days get longer. Plus showgirls and silkies are not a numerically high laying breed.

One started up again a few days ago. She sure took her time.
