No eggs since October now January

My mate fed my chickens chips in October I was angry as they havnt laid since I this the reason why ?

Are you in the northern or southern hemisphere? I'm the north, and chickens here tend to stop for the most part in winter.

Where, in general, are you located? If you add it to your profile we can give better-targeted advice.

If it's winter where you are it's normal for chickens to take a break during the time of reduced daylight hours. Sometimes new layers -- this past spring's chicks -- will lay through the winter, but hens over a year are likely to molt in the fall and not lay again until days are increasing instead of decreasing.
