NO Eggs

we got 4 hens and a rooster 3 weeks ago - and the second day we had one egg..... ever since no eggs

any reason the hens stopped laying

molting, cold, lack of light, rooster hassling them, illness... any number of things....

I started a thread this afternoon regarding this same situation. Apparently the hens are resting up for the big 2009 laying season. I have 23 that should be laying and haven't had a single egg in 4 days now. A bit frustrating, but hopefully they will all be nice and rested come spring!
