I'm not sure if they are getting stolen or if they are just not laying anymore. How do I find out? I have just 2 red hens that started laying in February, and were each laying one a day. Now I get none at all. They just roam about the yard (half acre) eating whatever, and I give them table scraps. They are pooping like they are getting enough to eat and are healthy. They have a little house that they normally lay eggs in, but they are not really enclosed; they can go wherever in the yard whenever they want. They never leave the yard. They often sleep on the trash can at the back door. I've looked around to see if they created a new laying spot but I can't find anything. What should I do?
