No embryo but veins?

I have a egg I’ve been incubating, it’s now day 9. I see veins and they have multiplied but I don’t see a embryo. Could this be a blood ring forming? Or did I do something wrong and it’s dying? This is day 7

I’ve been watching it since day 7 but the thing is it the ring doesn’t go all the way around

I don’t think it always does. I’ve seen many examples of this, but I’ve never seen a full ring personally.
