Hi so my friends chicks are about 6 weeks but because 2 are silkies she’s wondering if she should keep heat on them still. I can get pictures of them if needed but they are pretty feathered besides the silkies being puff balls lol.

No, even silkies can come off heat at 6-weeks. I had mine out there even in 40s but had a Cozy Coop (flat panel heater) in their temp pen nest box for at night.
