Finally coming out of the shadows! Have had four RIR and Ameraucanas as laying hens for a couple of years along with a Frizzle and a Silkie. I've stopped in time to time as I've needed information, but have never joined. Anyway, just gave my sister the layers and wanted to purchase ten or so new pullets. In researching breeds to find "cool to look at" hens, I stumbled upon and am CRAZY about the BLR Wyandottes! Anyone know where I can get a couple of pullets?! I'm in Texas and am willing to pay shipping/special handling or drive - I think I'm in love! Not set up to incubate and really don't want a roo....
