No more peas in the house

Well, I just moved my 4 month old pair out of the house.
They were teasing the dog too much. We have a doberman pincer and she was getting tormented by the birds so much, she started poo-ing in her kennel at night. She's doing much better now that the peas are outside.
I put the pair in the "chick nursery" in the barn. It's about 4' x 10' and 4' off the ground. They seem to like it out there. I'll miss having them around the house, though. I hope they stay as friendly and tame over the winter.
They'll be in they're own pen in the spring... when my husband gets the time to build it.
How soon after moving them outside should I worm them? Any other recommendations are welcome as well.

Its funny as the peacocks get older they will start pecking at anything and everything, including wet dog noses and eyeballs. I'm sure you know what I mean!

Yes when do we worm them? I haven't ever done it and would like to know the whys, whens and hows.

I know that it's 3cc panacur per gal of water for 3 days and can repeat in 10 days, and I'll probably worm them next week - when I can get to TSC to get the wormer. I hope that's good enough.
And, yes, the peas would go for the dog's nose through the kennel door. If poor Nori turned around, they'd harass her little cropped tail. Mostly, they just stood in front of the kennel and watched her. I think that's what did it. They'd jump on the kennel, too.
When both dog & peas were out around the house, Nori would avoid the pair. I really think she saw them as threatining. They found her amusing.

Yep, we see who rules the roost. Peacocks are so entertaining, I love watching them display, they will do anything to get attention when displaying, scratching, picking up sticks, rocks, SCREAMING, and I've noticed they like to back up into things and bump along fences etc to make themselves look so big. It's just great entertainment. And whatever they do it seems the peahens always act casual, like they just arent impressed. Has anybody ever seen them actually mate, I'm guessing it occurs around dawn b/c I've never seen it and I do lots of peacock watching.

I don't see any great emergency getting them wormed immediately. I do wyzine (sp?) then Panacure the next week and Ivermectin a month later. I am jealous that your peas are so tame. You must be more poop tolerant than my wife!

They weren't actually that bad... they mostly hung out by their cage (or on top of it) and the bulk of the poo ended up in the tray beneath the cage. They didn't like the carpet so they stayed off of it. If they poo-ed on the tiled floor, we just wiped it up with a paper towel followed by a disinfecting wipe. I even had the kids trained to clean up after them. Compared to an inside chicken, though, they don't make a mess at all.
As for them being tame, well, that's how it goes at our house. My husband thinks the peas are too skittish. They sit on my arm, "talk" to me, and were making themselves at home around my children and 2yo doberman. That's why I can't buy mature peafowl... birds make my husband nervous and if he thinks my pair are skittish, I'm sure he wouldn't appreciate adult newcomers. It took me a long time to talk him into peafowl at all.
He really enjoys the peas, though. He thinks they are intelligent compared to our other birds.
I look forward to buying eggs in the spring. I'm going to try for opal peafowl again. I wasn't very lucky this year, maybe next year will be better.
As for the worming - I just wasn't sure when to worm them. I will be worming my horses next week and thought if I did the peas at the same time, it would be easier to remember when I did it. I would hate to jeopardize their health out of ignorance. I just want happy, healthy peafowl.
