NO--more projects!!!

We were working on finishing my chicken run, yesterday, It was 95*, my dh was digging the last of the trench for the wire.. My dh stopped what he was doing, took a long look at me, said "I love you"! I thought how sweet he is and said "I love you, too"--then he said " When I finish this run, there will be NO more projects, for the rest of this year, for you...this is it..OK?"

He has NEVER said anything like that in our entire 36yrs together.. How can he say that to me?? I mean, I still have 1000's of things on my list!

OH well, I'll just post the list on the calendar for Jan.1, 2010!

Later that day, my dd came by and my dh said--I told your mom, no more projects for her, for the rest of the year! She started laughing and had to call our son to tell him, what his dad had said! As she left, she asked "dad, when are you going to build the larger stands for mom's hives?? Without missing a beat, He replied "I should start them next week."

My hubby does that all the time.

The last time, I can't say I blame him. On Friday, he was installing the faucets on our new 100+ pound Kohler sink and he wiggled it just right and it fell through the hole and opened a gash on his head. If he had not already installed the garbage disposer, the sink would have fallen full force on his face.

He said he was never doing anything for me again. I said htat was fine and I couldn't blame him.
So today he installed our new range hood and tomorrow my stove is going in.
