no nest for brooding hen...please advise!

My hen scratches out nesting material and sits on her eggs on the bare bottom of the brooder box. And her eggs are cracking and breaking.....

This morning I checked her (she is due to hatch tomorrow) and one egg had busted and the yoked dried and glued another egg to her skin...so now I think I've lost that egg too.....

....any advice????

I had to literarly glue foam chair insalation to the bottem of nesting box, for my silver poish hen, who scratches out all her nesting material, then obsessivly rolls her eggs
