I posted about my Lethargic Turkey Chick in both the Turkey and the Chicken forums. No one answered. She died.

Maybe you should think twice about not answering posts.

Quite possible that those who read it did not know what to suggest. Don't blame all of us for your loss. If you were that concerned there are local veterinarians that you could have called!!!!

I posted about my son's new chicks, I didn't get any responses either. I thought perhaps someone could answer at least one question. I posted her many years ago and always received a response. Maybe new group of people now. I don't know. I know vets cost a lot of money, and they are not always near or available.

Did you post to the Emergencies/Diseases/Injury section? That would likely be your best response. Chicks are pretty delicate animals, they dies sometimes, it may have died even if someone had responded. We are not vets, all we can do is speak to our experiences.

It important that to get the best answers to post in the appropriate section of the forum.

The Emergency forum would have been the best fit for the threads about your sick poult.
