Greetings from the Cayman Islands!
Our national bird is the Cayman Parrot but many believe it should be changed to the chicken as there is a billion more chickens than parrots here.
I have just started my small coop with 3 Auracana hens. They are laying already and just getting used to their new place. We have dozens of wild chickens all over the neighborhood and one particular rooster has taken notice of my beautiful girls and is not happy with the no admittance rule. I want these hens for egg laying only and don't want any feral/wild bird spoiling my girls.
Here is a pic of his situation...sorry for the clutter and poor image. On my way to town to buy paint for the coop within the coop just now...will post pics of it later....
