With chickens who live in a coop all of the time, what is the best feed without pellets?

I eat the eggs and the Roosters.

I only eat the eggs but have a few roosters so I feed Flock Raiser from Purina. It's a crumble that I add extras into and make great tasting eggs. Nutrena is also a good brand but harder for me to find an all-flock version at my area feed stores.

Are you specifically looking for no "pellets" but can do a crumble or mash, or are you instead looking for a whole and cracked grain feed?

I don't like the pellets because they dissolve when wet. I feed on the ground while the dew is still abundant. I don't have a place to feed inside. A whole and cracked grain feed would be good, I think. Price is very important, also.
I am trying to eliminate the waste, and still feed nutritionally.
I feed all of my table scraps to them.
BTW ... I have one Rooster and three hens. They are a couple of years old and permanent. I hope to add three more hens, when I have a place for them.
I have eight Stag Roosters. They run loose and will be in the freezer before long. Two white leghorns, four Rhode Island Reds, one Dominecker, and one black one [he is a little larger than the rest]. These Roosters were all incubated together. They are starting to do a lot of fighting.
I've been workin a couple of months on a chicken tractor. I don't have much time nor money. I hope to have it finished by winter.
