i just had to share this pic. i have never seen this many of my girls in there at once. there are seven in and two waiting for thier favorite nests.
they are earning thier keep. must have scared them a little when i took a load to the auction last weekend. lol

LOL, our hens can't seem to grasp the fact that just because Phoebe's in your favorite nest box doesn't mean you have to sit on top of her... there are three others, but oh no, just the two on the ends are good...

i think the most i have seen before was 4. so this was quite a shocker. i got a good laugh out of it.
ya i have seen them climbing in on another when in use. they are pretty funny.
