no roos allowed

so, everyone here has me convinced that silkies would be a wonderful addition to my flock. but purchased chicks are not sexed, and no roos allowed where i am! so....um, what do I do with any roos i turn up with? do i just look for adult birds and forgo those adorable fuzzy things?

Place an ad on Craigslist for your roos. Many people are looking for meat birds.

People will readily take silkie roos for pets. Chinese like them for meat. When we were rehoming THREE silkie roos, I teased DD that "Mr. Chang" was coming to pick them up.
