No Rooster

I live in Panama City Florida, Actually I live just outside of Panama City in the country. I survived Hurricane Michael.The eye of the hurricane passed right over us at category 5 strength. Just about the whole city was destroyed, and we are only now, (about 5 month later), beginning to get back to almost normal in some areas. I spent the first three months living in a tent. I'm now living in a mobile home back on my property. Some of my leghorn hens survived. But I have no rooster. I have been shopping around at the various on line hatcheries but I cant find any who have a leghorn rooster they will sell me. Does anyone know where I can buy a Leghorn rooster?

I have neighbors with roosters but none of them are Leghorns. I'm hoping to get a grown leghorn rooster from somewhere so I can raise pure leghorns. All I can get from the hatcheries are new born chicks so I still wouldn't have a rooster until next year. There must be somebody around here somewhere who has one they can sell me. But I can't seem to locate anyone.

Have you tried Craigslist for your area? People are always trying to get rid of the roo's there. You might get lucky to find the one that you are looking for. Good luck!

Edit: You can also ask if someone has one that they would part with in your Florida states thread.
