no shell on egg

I have a blue slate hen that has been laying for about a month. Today when I went to feed them, I found two eggs without shells. Does anyone know what causes this? Is it feed related? She gets layer, scratch and greens.

Sometimes it just happens and there is nothing you can do about it, it is just a fluke of her system.

I had a hen that laid an egg without a shell last year the first time she laid. I called the lady I had gotten her from and she said she had laid eggs with no shell a couple of times before. I added some oyster shell to the feed and she laid a bunch of eggs after the one all with shells.
