No starter feed

one of my ducks had 4 baby's almost 4 weeks ago, however today I went outside to give them starter feed only to find it filled with some type of awful smelling grub. It smells so strongly i am afraid to feed them with it. Stores don't open again until monday and i don't have any kind of grain or grit. Please help ASAP, i'm going away overnight and need a substitute

Certainly don't feed that, throw it out. I believe things like oatmeal moistened, cooked rice, barley, peas, canned corn, stuff like that can act as substitutes until you can get more feed.
